My February 2015 TVK Box

Contents of my Vegan Kind February box

I took these pictures on the same day I received this Vegan Kind box because I didn't trust myself not to open everything in one go and eat them on the very same day! Such an awesome selection this month, I just couldn't wait to get stuck in!

White Rabbit Toning Eye Cream jar

My favourite item in the box is this awesome Toning Eye Cream from White Rabbit. I tried the cream immediately and it was so soothing and cooling, it's just gorgeous! Containing green tea, rosehip oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin E, chamomile and carrot seed essential oils, this cream is packed full of nutrients which nourish the delicate skin surrounding the eyes. I highly recommend it.

Gluten Free and Vegan Eat Real Quinoa Chips

These Eat Real Sour Cream and Chives Quinoa Chips from Eat Real are the healthy version of Wotsits! Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans, they contain naturally gluten free ingredients and are free from GMO, wheat, artificial colours, preservatives and MSG AND they taste extremely yummy!

Packet of Eat Real Quinoa Chips

They come in a large pack so it was just a little disappointing to discover that the contents only filled a third of the packet but it does state 30 grams so I shouldn't have expected more. However, with everyone clambering to have a taste, I didn't end up with many. Note to self - next time I buy a pack, make sure no one else is around!

Freedom Mallows Choc Dips

I was so excited to try these Choc Dips from Freedom Mallows since I've tried their vegan marshmallows before and quite liked them. However, I wasn't very keen on this product, it was way too sweet for me.  Maybe you'll like them, it certainly is a unique idea.

Packet of Super Nutrients banana powder

I was truly intrigued by this organic banana powder from Super Nutrients, it's something I know I'm going to love!
"Our organic red banana powder is carefully prepared to retain the unique and delicious taste of vine-ripened Ecuadorian bananas. Naturally sweet, it is ideal for dusting on desserts or blending with other nutrient-rich products to create great tasting milkshakes and smoothies."
I haven't heard of Supernutrients before. A family business based in Bath, the company has grown by ‘word of mouth’ recommendation within the health food industry and now they're established as one of the major importers and wholesalers of superfoods in Europe. If you're interested, check out the range of products on the website. You can place an order by contacting them directly - a percentage of their profits is donated to a third world charity.

Fit Bites, the Maca Mantra flavour

The final product in the box this month is a box of Fit Bites, the Maca Mantra flavour.
"FitBites really has come from a combined passion for fitness and food. We want to offer products that people feel good about eating. For this reason our products had to be organic, naturaland raw so that they retain the highest and purest level of nutrients."
The two bites of loveliness are packaged in a very attractive box. Containing raisins, dates, prunes, almonds, coconut, figs, sunflower seeds and maca, these delicious two to three bite mouthfuls are awesome.

Also included in the box every month is a recipe card, this time the recipe is for a Super Green Smoothie from Fresh Heather which contains the banana powder above.
