Trail Mix GF SCD
I rarely buy trail mix shall I tell you why? The packets in our supermarkets quite often contain cranberries and they're always sweetened with a sugar syrup. I don't even like dried cranberries and if it contains pineapple, it's often the candied sort which I have to pick out.

Dried Fruit Salad with Toasted Almonds GF SCD

Cranachan GF SCD

Grain Free & Tree Nut Free Crunchy Cereal GF SCD
“When You’re Grain Free and Feeling Like A Nut, But Can’t Eat Tree Nuts or Peanuts!” - this is the theme for the "Go Ahead Honey it's Gluten Free" event hosted by Shirley of GFE - Gluten Free Easily this month. I'm always ready for a challenge and this recipe came about by accident when some cookies I'd created failed! I adjusted the recipe and created a crunchy cereal or topping or snack which is rather addictive so be careful you don't eat too much!

Grain Free Tea Bread GF SCD DF
Loaded with dried fruit, nuts and seeds this tea bread packs a sweet nutritional punch and served on its own or spread with butter, it tastes absolutely delicious! Strictly speaking, it isn't really a "tea bread" since the traditional tea bread is made using fruit which has been steeped in tea but you can eat it for tea and it would definitely go very nicely with a cup of tea.

SCD Yogurt
These detailed instructions will show you how to make SCD yogurt. For Followers of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet it is an important part of the diet in the initial stages. Please read the instructions on-line or in the book, Breaking the Vicious Cycle: Intestinal Health Through Diet.
As well as its use in savoury and sweet dishes, yogurt makes wonderful ice cream and can be dripped to make delicious cream cheese. You may be wondering what makes SCD yogurt different to regular shop bought yogurt?

Gluten and Grain Free Summer Berry Muffins GF SCD
It's Easter Monday and the streets are lined with cars. The 48th World Coal Carrying Competition is about to take place in our tiny village! Strangely, every year on Easter Monday since 1964 men and women have raced up the high street carrying a sack of coal on their back. This year the sun was shining and for the first time I can remember, we even had the local brass band playing!
